Neurologist
Dr. Betzinska graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2007. She completed her residency in neurology in 2019 after training at the St. Naum University Hospital of Neurology and Psychiatry. In 2021, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Neurophysiological Methods for the Diagnosis and Monitoring of Epilepsy Treatment in Adults”, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
She holds certifications in electroencephalography (EEG) and Doppler neurosonography, which enable her to perform highly accurate diagnostics of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Dr. Betzinska’s professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, cerebrovascular diseases, headaches, neurodegenerative diseases, polyneuropathies, and other neurological conditions.
Her work in the field of regenerative medicine and the application of cell technologies holds a special place in her professional practice. As part of a multidisciplinary approach, Dr. Betzinska participates in the evaluation of patients for cell therapy programs, as well as in the neurological monitoring and follow-up of patients undergoing treatment with mesenchymal stem cells and other modern biomedical products.
Her research and clinical work is focused on integrating innovative regenerative medicine techniques into neurological practice, while adhering to the principles of evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and international quality standards.
